What a great pleasure to receive the visit of M.me Hélène Shützenberger, daughter of Anne Ancelin Shützenberger, Honorary member of our Association! The visit took place in Turin, where the library and the professional archives of the famous French scholar are in custody for the reorganization in our care.
In a friendly atmosphere, the president of the association, Marco Greco, introduced Acta company's archivists and some University's students who have provided a first draft of the inventories.
It was a special moment to share ideas and news on important professional relationships that Anne Ancelin Shützenberger has been able to weave in time, her so intense human experiences, the American period and the movies that concern herself (including that one by Roberto Rossellini, often mentioned in filmographies and only recently identified as a result of our research).
It was also very nice to meet Dr. Paolo Messina, director of Turin's public libraries who received us in Palazzo Siccardi, a prestigious location of a new civic library in Piazzetta Mastri Minusieri.
At the end of the stay in Turin, Mme Hélène told us: "I am really happy that my mother's books and papers are safe in your hands". An appreciation that makes us proud and even more attentive to the best realization of this project.
